  1. Employment opportunities and application processes in USDA agencies
  2. Internship opportunities and application processes in USDA agencies
  3. Current research to practice in USDA priority areas-Food Safety, Climate Change, Sustainable Energy, and Childhood Obesity
  4. Effective presentation techniques to communicate science
  5. Strengths identification and leadership plan development
  6. Networking strategies and opportunities with USDA representatives and scholars in the food and agricultural sciences
