This application will allow you to be considered for the
Graduate Studies Scholarship
($500 per semester)and Endowed Scholarship
for Graduate Students.

- Be accepted to a degree seeking program
- Have at least a 3.0 GPA
- Meet minimum enrollment requirements (graduate scholarships require enrollment in at least 6 hours of graduate level courses, however some require full time enrollment)
- Upon submission, your application will be reviewed by the appropriate committee and ranked based on your GPA, academic record, essay, evidence of leadership,research and/or other accomplishments related to your degree, resume, letters of recommendation (if required) and other criteria.
- You will receive an email notification of your status approximately 2-5 weeks after the scholarship deadline to the email address provided on your application.
- Most scholarships are awarded for the academic year and not for just one semester. For example, if you are awarded a $1,000 scholarship, you will receive $500 in the fall semester and $500 in the spring semester.
- You can view any financial aid and scholarships that are offered to you (after you are accepted) in your SAIL account.
- Scholarship monies are automatically applied to your tuition bill and generally posted the day before tuition is due. Refunds are coordinated through our University's Business Office and processed through the Higher One Easy Refund Card.

Your first step in applying for scholarships should be applying for admission to the University. You will not be awarded a scholarship unless you have been admitted. However, you may submit your scholarship application if an admission decision has not been received yet.
Scholarship awards are based on a student's overall scholarship application (i.e., GPA, essay, resume, leadership, etc.) and not just on a single criterion. Read more information here :

Scholarship applications must be submitted by the end of business day of posted deadline. If additional scholarship funds are made available to any program, prospective applicants will be notified of same.
- Completing the scholarship application on the Graduate Studies website will allow you to be considered for most donor based scholarships if funding becomes available. However, links for alternate scholarships will be posted on our Home page or the Scholarships website when available.
