GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

The College of Liberal Arts awards a limited number of $1,000 graduate scholarships that recognize scholastic potential and achievement. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be admitted to a graduate program in the College of Liberal Arts. They must enroll in at least 6 hours per long semester and 3 hours in the summer. Scholarships are competitively awarded following selection by the departmental scholarship committees. Award criteria vary from semester to semester and may differ from award criteria of the University General Scholarship Program. This scholarship is generally for students in the beginning of their program.
Application Procedure
To apply for a scholarship, students must complete the attached Scholarship Application form. Only completed scholarship applications will be accepted. For priority consideration, applications must be received by April 1 for the fall and summer semesters, and December 18 for spring semester. Applicants who cannot meet that deadline are still encouraged to apply, for applications received later will be considered as funds are available.
